Kentucky hunters post 5th highest deer harvest

Kentucky deer hunters posted the fifth-highest harvest on record during the 2017-2018 seasons. The deer season was successful despite an outbreak of epizootic hemorrhagic disease in sections of eastern Kentucky and a wicked cold snap during the late portion of the season.

Lady Cards survive, advance at All 'A'

Lady Eagles' offense, defense break Union by 37

Super Eagles

Pictured are the Graves County Eagle boys basketball team members following Saturday night's 60-56 win over Carbondale, Ill., to win the Superman Classic championship at Massac County High School in Metropolis. It was Graves' first such title. Also honored were players Ryan Mathis and Jordyn Naranjo to the all-tournament team. Naranjo was also named MVP.
