12 new COVID-19 cases reported in Graves County

The Graves County Health Department announced this morning a dozen new cases of the coronavirus. That raises the total number of cases in the county since Marsh to 473.

This latest group includes a boy and girl between 0-10 years in age; two teen boys; three females in their 20s; two females in their 30s; a man and woman in their 60s; and a woman in her 70s.

All are in isolation in their respective homes.

“COVID19 is so easy to catch. Please do everything you can to protect yourself.” said Kathy Gifford, nurse supervisor for the local health department.

“Be the example to others by modeling good practices of prevention.” said Director Noel Coplen.

Gov. Andy Beshear announced five additional COVID related deaths Wednesday, including a Graves County man in his 80s.
