A man was arrested by Mayfield Police after allegedly brandishing a weapon in a reported road rage incident Wednesday.
Danny Ford, 71, was charged with First-Degree Wanton Endangerment after he allegedly chased a vehicle across the city and reportedly pulled out a handgun.
According to a MPD report, officers responded to a gas station on Fulton Road for the reported road rage incident. The victim advised officers that Ford followed him through town, yelling at him, and attempted to run him off the road. The victim also said that once he pulled up to the gas station, Ford jumped out of his car and began walking towards him. At that point, the victim said Ford pulled a gun and pointed it in his direction.
Several witnesses were interviewed at the scene, as well. At the time of Ford’s arrest, officers found a .38 caliber handgun on his person.
