Two drivers were taken to a local hospital after a hydroplaning incident Sunday afternoon on Interstate-69.
According to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office, Mary Hill, 48, and Rebecca Roberson, 59, were in separate vehicles and traveling south on I-69. Both drivers reported hydroplaning, due to heavy rainfall, causing both vehicles to collide with each other and spin out of control.
Hill’s vehicle went off the right shoulder under the Ky. 944 overpass and stopped in a grassy area. Roberson’s vehicle left the right shoulder, went up an embankment and landed on Ky. 944.
Both drivers were taken to Jackson Purchase Medical Center for possible injuries.
