A complaint of gunfire and alleged drug activity resulted in charges of a Fancy Farm man and Mayfield woman, according to Kentucky State Police.
Troopers from Post 1 in Hickory responded to a residence on Willett Street in Fancy Farm. The initial investigation by Trooper Austin Ramage resulted in a search warrant for the residence, in which approximately 40 pounds of suspected marijuana, nine firearms, and $800 in cash were discovered. The cash was believed to be from illegal drug sales, according to the KSP release.
Robert Higgins, 26, and Miranda C. Rodgers, 26, were charged with Trafficking in Marijuana (More Than 5 Pounds), First Offense. Higgins was taken to the Graves County Jail while Rodgers was cited into court due to a medical condition.
