The Graves County Sheriff’s Office (GSCO) arrested a Water Valley man after receiving information he had placed hidden cameras in residents’ homes in both Graves County and Weakley County, Tennessee.
Roman Trujillo, 32, of Water Valley was arrested in connection to the cameras, which had been secretly placed in homes without the knowledge or permission of the residents. The suspect did have initial permission to be in the homes.
Detectives investigating the cameras recovered images from recording devices that showed numerous people in private settings. Actual video cameras have also been recovered.
Seven juveniles have been identified on at least 27 of the images.
Detectives have turned over pertinent evidence to the Weakley County Sheriff’s Office for the investigation there as well.
All victims have been identified and notified.
Trujillo was arrested on a warrant charging him with 27 counts of Promoting a Minor in a Sexual Performance of an age under 16. He is cooperating with the investigation, GSCO reported.
Detectives Snapper Seaton and Brooke Amberg are handling this investigation with the assistance of The Graves County Commonwealth Attorney’s Office.
