Graves County deputy sheriffs arrested a fugitive Tuesday morning whom they had been looking for since March on cocaine trafficking and other charges.
Detective Brooke Amberg and Deputy Dale Mason arrested Austin Baker about 8:40 a.m. Tuesday at a home on Depot Street in Water Valley. At the time of his arrest, deputies found he was in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, deputy Dale Mason said.
Baker was served a March 20 warrant charging him with trafficking in a first-degree controlled substance (first offense, 4 grams or more of cocaine), as well as possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He now also faces charges of possession of meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia associated with his arrest Tuesday.
