Reckless homicide, drug trafficking and possession, robbery, illegal possession of prescription medication, first-degree wanton endangerment and unlawful imprisonment are among indictments against Mayfield-Graves County residents by a Graves County Grand Jury in June. Indictment by a grand jury is an accusation only, not an indication of guilt. Those indicted are to be considered innocent unless found guilty in a court of law.

The following is a list of those indicted, according to Graves County Circuit-District Court records:

• Marshall L. Dowdy, Tim Road, Hickory: Possession of methamphetamine (first offense) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Charles K. Sherrill, South 14th Street, Mayfield: Four counts of trafficking in cocaine (second offense, less than 4 grams), possession of cocaine (first offense) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Christian L. Ahlfield, Brookside Drive, Mayfield: Possession of meth (first offense), first-degree possession of an unspecified drug (first offense), possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of prescription medication not in the original container.

• Darius Harrison, Greg Street, Mayfield: First-degree robbery, convicted felon with a handgun, possession of cocaine (third or greater offense, firearm enhanced), cultivating 5 or more marijuana plants (firearm enhanced), convicted felon with firearm, theft of a firearm and theft under $10,000.

• Jalon J. Johnson, West Broadway, Mayfield: Possession of meth (first offense), first-degree possession of an unspecified drug (first offense), possession of drug paraphernalia and prescription medication not in its original container.

• Dalevontea R. Mason, Ashbrook Ave., Paducah: Possession of meth (first offense), first-degree possession of an unspecified drug (first offense), possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of prescription medication not in the proper container.

• Johnathan N. Sharpe, Pryor Street, Mayfield: Possession of meth (first offense), first-degree bail jumping, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and careless driving.

• Frank Trent, Pilot Oak Street, Water Valley: First-degree possession of a controlled substance (first offense), tampering with evidence, resisting arrest and second-degree disorderly conduct.

• James A. Vasquez, South Ninth Street, Mayfield: Possession of meth (first offense), first-degree possession of an unspecified drug (first offense), possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a prescription medication not in its proper container.

• Eugene D. Skains II, Ky. 156, Goldonna, Louisiana: Convicted felon with a handgun, possession of meth (first offense), possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

• Mark Wayne Basham, Wilford Street, Mayfield: Trafficking in meth (first offense, less than 2 grams), first-degree promoting contraband and reckless homicide.

• Tori Toni Curtis, North Eighth Street, Mayfield: First-degree robbery, first-degree wanton endangerment, persistent felony offender (PFO) II, attempted sodomy, three counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, three counts of second-degree forgery and identity theft.

• Michael Ray Klein, Rue Thierry Drive, Paducah: DUI (fourth offense), driving on a DUI suspended license (third or greater offense), failure to maintain vehicle insurance, no vehicle registration receipt and no registration plates.
