A joint effort by the McCracken County, Graves County and Marshall County Sheriff's offices and Drug Enforcement Administration arrested three men, including one from Mayfield Sunday.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, the investigation began approximately one month ago when detectives received information alleging that James Dickey, 40, of Paducah, was selling quantities of crystal methamphetamine. Through the investigation, detectives made a controlled meth purchase from Dickey. Detectives then received information that he was meeting with his source of supply for additional meth.

Detectives conducted a traffic stop Sunday evening on a vehicle driven by Dickey, and located and seized an approximate pound of crystal meth and money believed to be proceeds of illegal drug sales. Both Dickey and a passenger Marrio Webb, 32, of Paducah, were arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail on charges of trafficking in methamphetamine.

Webb was also charged with tampering with physical evidence.

In a separate investigation Sunday, detectives obtained information alleging Tresviante McCampbell, 29, of Mayfield would be delivering a quantity of methamphetamine and pills to a hotel located 2550 Lone Oak Road in McCracken County. When detectives approached McCampbell at the hotel, he was observed throwing down a bag that was found to contain one pound of crystal meth.

After his arrest, detectives located approximately 100 pills suspected to contain Fentanyl on his person. During a search of McCampbell's vehicle, detectives located and seized $5,214 that is suspected to be drug proceeds.

McCampbell was also lodged in McCracken County Regional Jail on charges of trafficking in meth and Fentanyl, as well as tampering with physical evidence. Both he and Webb were on felony probation at the time of their arrests for drug trafficking.

The investigation is continuing and additional arrests are likely.
