Mayfield Police Chief Nathan Kent reported the following arrests and warrants served:
• Jared Henley, 50, of Mayfield, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of alcohol intoxication in a public place (first offense). A Mayfield police officer saw a man, later identified as Henley, having difficulty walking on Douthitt Street about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. His speech was slurred, and he was unsteady on his feet and smelled of alcohol, Kent said. After determining him to be under the influence of alcohol, officers arrested him and took him to the Graves County Jail.
• Michael Stapleton, 40, of Mayfield, was arrested Thursday on a Graves County bench warrant. Stapleton was originally caught shoplifting from Dollar General. He was taken to the Graves County Jail.
• James E. Gray, 62, of Mayfield, was arrested on an active bench warrant for alcohol intoxication in a public place (third offense) and drinking alcohol in a public place (first offense). He was taken to the Graves County Jail.
