Deputies were called to the scene of a vehicle vs. cow accident on Ky. 303 Thursday night.
According to a release from the Graves County Sheriff's Office, Deputy Jacob Hamm was dispatched at approximately 10:35 p.m. to the area of Slaughter Road and Ky. 303 for a collision involving a cow.
After an investigation, it was determined that a red Dodge Caliber, driven by Kayla Bailey of Wingo, was traveling south on Ky. 303 when a large cow walked out in front of her vehicle. Bailey did not have time to stop and struck the cow.
Bailey was checked out at the scene by Mayfield/Graves County EMS. She was treated and released at the scene of the accident.
