PADUCAH -- A traffic stop Friday resulted in a Graves County woman being arrested on several charges.
According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, at approximately 4:11 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop on a white 2019 Toyota Corolla with a stolen Kentucky license plate displayed on the rear of the vehicle.
Kaitlyn Howard, 20, of Boaz, was identified as the operator. Upon further investigation and a search of the vehicle, deputies located methamphetamine in Howard's purse. She was arrested and taken to the McCracken County Jail.
She was charged with no registration plates; failure to produce an insurance card; license to be in possession; theft of motor vehicle registration plate; and first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamines; first offense).
