Mayfield City Hall closed to public, offices still doing business - photo

Mayfield City Hall has closed to the public due to rising cases of COVID-19 in the community.

Mayfield City Hall closed to the public and all walk-in business Tuesday. An announcement from Mayor Kathy O’Nan said the building would be closed until further notice.

The release stated that all employees would continue to work and would accept appointments to conduct business. The Mayor and the head of each department, Mayfield Fire Department and Codes, Mayfield Police Department, Public Works and City Clerk, are available to schedule appointments by calling 270-247-1981. Masks and temperature screenings will be required for anyone attending a scheduled appointment.

Payment of city property taxes, which are due by Dec. 31, may made online via the city’s website (, through the mail to Mayfield City Clerk, 211 E. Broadway, Mayfield 42066, or by placement in the drop box located at the north entrance of City Hall.
