A Mayfield man was arrested on four warrants Thursday when the Mayfield Police Department responded to a report of shots fired near the intersection of Indiana Avenue and North Fourth Street.
Mayfield Police Chief Nathan Kent said officers arrived and located Timothy L. Brown, 37, running from the Windhaven area. Brown was arrested and taken to the Graves County Jail.
One of the warrants was issued in October from McCracken County District Court in connection to charges of contempt of court, public intoxication and failure to appear. The remaining warrants were issued since January in Graves County in connection to charges of contempt of court, failure to appear, failure to wear a seatbelt, DUI (aggravated), resisting arrest, first and second-degree fleeing or evading police on foot, probation violation on a misdemeanor offense, fourth-degree assault (domestic violence with minor injury) and violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO.

n Juana Courtney, 47, of Mayfield was arrested on a Fulton County warrant Wednesday charging her with second-degree manslaughter and other alleged offenses.
Courtney had turned herself in at the Mayfield Police Department on an unrelated case. During an investigation, she also was found to be wanted for contempt of court, failure to comply with a restitution order and tampering with evidence in addition to the manslaughter charge and taken to the Graves County Jail.
n Richard T. Berkley, 46, of Mayfield was served with warrants charging him with two counts of contempt of court Thursday while he was incarcerated at the Graves County Jail. The warrants were issued on original charges of flagrant non-support of a child, public intoxication and second-degree bail jumping.
• Lastanford Shelton of Mayfield was arrested Thursday on two Graves County warrants when he turned himself in to police. The warrants were issued in connection to harassing communications and second-degree bail-jumping charges.
Shelton was taken to the Graves County Jail.
• Paul Parson, 30, of Mayfield was arrested on a warrant charging him with failure to appear and contempt of court while incarcerated at the Graves County Jail. The warrants were issued in connection to charges of possession of marijuana and a misdemeanor violation of his parole agreement.
• Rodney Gilliam, 26, of Mayfield was arrested Monday on a warrant charging him with contempt of court and taken to the Graves County Jail.
