Mayfield Police Chief Nathan Kent reported the following arrests, warrants served and traffic incidents:
Zachary Fisher, 25, of Ravenna, Ohio, was already lodged at the Graves County Jail on Friday when it was discovered he had two active warrants out of Graves County. He was served an indictment warrant charging him with Second-Degree Assault, and a bench warrant for Failure to Appear for the underlying charges of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, First-Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance — First Offense (Methamphetamine), and Second-Degree Promoting Contraband. Fisher remained in the Graves County Jail.
On Thursday, officers arrested Timothy Davis, 52, of Mayfield, after a traffic stop wherein he was the passenger. Davis was found to have a bench warrant out of Graves County. During his arrest, officers discovered drugs and paraphernalia. Davis was taken to the Graves County Jail on charges of Tampering With Physical Evidence, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, First-Degree Possession of Controlled Substance — First Offense (Methamphetamine), and Contempt of Court Libel/Slander Resistance to Order.
