The Graves County Sheriff’s Office arrested two individuals for possession of methamphetamine this past weekend.
On Sunday at approximately 6:45 p.m., deputies and officers from the Kentucky Department of Probation and Parole went to a residence on Dublin Hill Road. After a search of the home was conducted, Billy J. Luter, 56, of Dublin, was arrested for first-degree possession of a controlled substance, third of greater offense, and drug paraphernalia — buy/possess. Deputies recovered methamphetamine and several pieces of drug paraphernalia in the search.
On Monday at approximately 12:20 a.m., deputies served a search warrant on a residence in the 1300 block of Jimtown Road. After a search of the residence, Christy R. Hunter, 49, of Mayfield, was arrested on the same charges.
Hunter had methamphetamine on her person when deputies entered the residence. Another subject at the home, Daniel Hostetler, 28, of Mayfield, was cited into court for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia — buy/possess, and marijuana and paraphernalia were located on his person.
Deputy Jacob Hamm, Deputy Chandler Sirls and Sergeant Chris Mensinger investigated these incidents. They were assisted by Officers from the Department of Probation and Parole on the Luter arrest.
