Mayfield police are searching for a dark gray pickup truck involved in a hit and run Thursday morning.

The vehicle was described as a 2000 or older model Chevy Silverado 1500 extended cab, dark gray with silver or light gray skirting on the bottom, with a toolbox in the bed, near the cab. It will possibly have damage to the rear portion of the vehicle.
