A tip about alleged drug use at a home led to the arrest of a man and woman Sunday.

Deputies from the Graves County Sheriff’s Office received information of drug use at an address north of Mayfield.

This investigation led to possible drug trafficking that was occurring at an address on South Eighth Street in Mayfield.

After obtaining the information, Deputy Jamie Clark, Sergeant Richard Edwards, Detective Snapper Seaton, KSP Trooper Jay Dunn and Mayfield Police Sergeant Brandon Collins executed the search warrant at 821 S. Eighth St.

Upon entering the property, a male subject was detained outside and a female was detained once inside the residence.

While conducting the search officers located approximately 3.8 ounces of methamphetamine, digital scales, cash, Hydrocodone pills, Oxycodone pills and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.

Arrested at the home were Diana K. Balisteri, 27, and Fred M. Balisteri, 52. Both were charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense — Greater Than 2 Grams of Methamphetamine, Drug Paraphernalia-Buy/Possess and Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense — Drug Unspecified Schedule 1 and 2.

Both were lodged in the Graves County Jail.
