Suspects located in storage unit burglary
The Graves County Sheriff’s Office has identified potential suspects in connection to the Tuesday night burglaries of a storage unit complex just south of Mayfield. Approximately $33,000 of property was stolen and substantial damage had been done to the facility.
The suspects were involved in the attempted burglary of a home early this morning in neighboring Calloway County where shots were reportedly fired by the homeowner.
The vehicle seized in connection to that incident is the same one involved in the Graves County storage thefts. The vehicle itself was found to have been stolen from the St. Louis area back in January of this year. Inside the vehicle were numerous items believed to be burglary tools used in the Graves County incident.
The two suspects arrested in connection to the Calloway County incident are in custody, however their names have not yet been released pending further investigation by both Calloway and Graves County sheriff's offices.
Both suspects are reportedly residents of St. Louis Missouri.
