Graves County Sheriff's deputies arrested a Wingo man Tuesday on charges of first-degree wanton endangerment, third-degree terroristic threatening and DUI after allegedly pointing a shotgun at a female after an argument.

At approximately 10:30 p.m., deputies were dispatched to Kingston Raod for a report that a verbal altercation had occurred and a male had fired a shot off on scene and fled. Through the investigation deputies determined that Jason Moffit, 39, pointed a shotgun at a female at the residence then fired the shotgun in the air before leaving.

Deputy Jacob Hamm located Moffit at a residence on US 45 South. Moffit was heavily intoxicated when deputies located him. Deputy Hamm placed Moffit under arrest
