Mrs. Claudia Kay Pearson, 62, of Sedalia passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2020, at 3:42 p.m. at her residence.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mayfield, and a traveling lab technician.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Pearson of Sedalia; her mother, Mildred Barnett of Mayfield; three daughters, Jessica (Jason) Burkeen of Mayfield, Valerie (Jeremy) Nimmo of Paducah, and Chrissy (Sean) Graham of Jacksonville, Florida; three sisters, Sebrina (Kelly) Walkins of Clarksville, Tennessee, Donna (Paul) Soares of Toronto, Canada, and Nanette (Kent) Emerson of Mayfield; two brothers, Harvey (Annie) Barnett III of Wingo and Nick Barnett of Des Moines, Iowa; seven grandchildren, Chase (Taylor) Nimmo of Wingo, Steven (Lauryn) Nimmo of Norfolk, Virginia, Abby Rust and Chloe Rust, both of Mayfield, Haylee Graham, Kristopher Graham, and Micah Graham, all of Jacksonville, Florida; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her niece, Rachael Barnett; and her father, Harvey Barnett.
Memorial services will be held today, Wednesday, January 15, at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Mayfield with Rev. Wes Fowler officiating. Friends may call after 11 a.m. today at the funeral home.
The Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield is in charge of arrangements.
