Dwight Anthony Sherrill, 63, of Mayfield, died at 2 a.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at his residence.

He was a member of the Second Christian Church in Mayfield,retired from the Mayfield Fire Department, and former owner of the Soul Food Cabana Restaurant.

He is survived by a son, Anthony R. Senter of Mayfield and Jermel Williams of Mayfield; daughters, Denesha Senter of Atlanta, Georgia, and Rochelle Traubler of Lexington; sisters, LaDonna Sherrill of Mayfield and Marcia Biggers both of Mayfield; brother, Charles Sherrill of Hickory; Chris Shelton of Paducah; 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews survive.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Sherrill; two sisters and two brothers. His parents were Charles M. and Gladys Marie Sherrill Shelton.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, 2021, at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, Antonio Sherrill officiating.

Friends may call after noon Friday at the funeral home.
