Jack W. Forsyth, 81, of Mayfield, died at 6:44 a.m. Friday, April 30, 2021, at the Mills Health & Rehab Center.
He was a retired pipefitter from the former Ingersoll-Rand Company in Mayfield, was a member of the Pryorsburg Baptist Church, and was a U.S. Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his son, Michael J. Forsyth of Platte City, Missouri; daughter, Jill Diringer of Illinois; step-daughter, Linda Blakemore of Mayfield; step-sons, David Woods of Mayfield and Donald Woods of Florida; a half-brother, Robert Forsyth of Crystal Lake, Illinois; 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith (Johnson) Forsyth, and step-daughter, Delores Blakemore. His parents were Glen & Alice Mae (Sherman) Forsyth.
Services were held Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, Rev. Marshall Ivey officiated. Burial followed at the Wingo Cemetery.
Brown Funeral Home of Mayfield was in charge of arrangements.
