Mr. William Gerald "Jerry" Youngblood, 67, of Mayfield passed away Saturday, March 23, 2019 at his residence. He was retired as Co-Owner of Youngblood's RV after 38 years; served as firefighter and EMT for Mayfield for 8 years; and was a former Mayfield City Council Member. He attended St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mr. Youngblood is survived by his wife of 47 years, Teresa Mike Youngblood; mother, Dorothy Youngblood of Mayfield; one son, Brad (Meliah) Youngblood of Mayfield; one daughter, Holly Youngblood (Jason) Looper of Mayfield; one brother, Roger (Tammie) Youngblood of Mayfield; one sister, Janice Canter of Mayfield; 15 grandchildren, Evan Gooch, Brandon Henderson, Shelby Henderson, Hannah Looper, Keaton Looper, Hadley Looper, Gracie Youngblood, Ellie Youngblood, Sadie Youngblood, Kaylee Thompson, Dylan Thompson, Raelyn Miller, Gavin Gooch, Averie Gooch, and Mally Jade Gooch. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Renee Youngblood Henderson; one sister, Barbara Ann Youngblood; and his father, Burl Youngblood. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, March 27 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mayfield. Father Eric Riley will officiate. Interment will follow in the St. Jerome Church Cemetery in Fancy Farm. Boone Barton, Mark Crawford, Phillip Kauffeld, Luke Barnes, Mike Jones, and Steve McGee will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, March 26 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield.
