Multiple members of the Graves County Lady Eagles basketball team were named to the 2020 All-Purchase girls’ basketball team this week.
Senior guard Raychel Mathis and senior forward Callie Jackson were each named to the prestigious team, joining the likes of Charlee Settle from Calloway County, Destiny Thomas from McCracken County and Cayson Conner from Marshall County, among others.
This group of talented athletes was selected by area coaches and media members across western Kentucky following the conclusion of the regular season.
Jackson led the Lady Eagles in scoring and rebounds this season, averaging 15.4 points and 7.6 boards while Mathis was the team’s second leading scorer, averaging 12.7 points per game.
Graves County senior guard Bailey Wilson and Mayfield senior guard Kyler Henson were each named to the Honorable Mention list.
The boys’ 2020 All-Purchase team did not feature a Mayfield or Graves County player this season for the first time since the 2011-12 season.
