The Mayfield Lady Cardinals continued their hot streak on Tuesday night as they took down Ballard Memorial on the road 52-29.

Mayfield has now won six straight games and sits behind only Graves County for the best record in the First Region.

Kyler Henson led the Lady Cardinals in scoring once again against the Lady Bombers, scoring 15 points including four triples from downtown.

The Lady Cardinals will look to keep things rolling on Thursday night as they travel for a road game against South Fulton, TN.

Mayfield boys move to 8-3

The Mayfield Cardinals picked up their third straight win on Tuesday night, defeating the Ballard Memorial Bombers 71-37.

Colby Kennemore was the lone Cardinal in double-figures, scoring 13 points thanks to four three’s from beyond the arc.

In addition to earning a 34-point victory, the Cardinals got a key part of their team back as Kade Neely returned from a knee injury for the first time this season, scoring eight points.

Mayfield will round out the week with road games at South Fulton, TN and Graves County on Thursday and Friday nights before returning home for its first round game against Hickman County in the All “A” tournament at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday night.
