The Graves County Lady Eagles stayed hot over the weekend, following up its 77-27 victory over Ballard Memorial on Friday night with a 72-52 win over Ohio County on Saturday evening.

“Our girls were really good from the start and had a tremendous second quarter scoring 28 points,” Graves County head coach Lyndon Dunning said.

“[I’m] really proud of our bench. Morgan Alexander, Conlee Spann, Hannah Glisson, Addison Widleski and Carly Riley helped keep the momentum going in the game.”

Senior forward Avery Myatt led the Lady Eagles in scoring with 18 points, contributing half of her points during Graves’ 28-point second quarter.

Graves has now won seven consecutive games dating back to their lone loss of the season at Marshall County on Jan. 29.
