DRAFFENVILLE — Marshall County officials announced they will hold their annual HoopFest in mid-February. The basketball spectacular will run form Feb. 18-20 with teams from across Kentucky, with Graves County’s boys and girls teams playing the opening day.
The first session will begin at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 18, with the Eagles playing Livingston Central. At 6:30, the Lady Eagles will play Hopkins Central, followed by Marshall County’s girls team against Russellville.
On Friday, Feb. 19, Marion County will face Louisville Ballard at 5:30 p.m., followed at 7 p.m. with Marshall’s boys taking on Lyon County. At 8:30, Ashland will play Fern Creek.
Saturday will have three sessions, beginning at 9 a.m. with Paducah Tilghman taking on Hopkinsville and Murray and Madisonville playing at 10:30 a.m. At 1 p.m., Bardstown and Louisville Ballard will face off, followed by McCracken County and Louisville Male.
The final session will feature the Lady Marshals playing Louisville Mercy at 5 p.m., then the Marshals taking on Ashland Blazer at 6:30 p.m., with Fern Creek and Bowling Green playing the last game of the series.
