PADUCAH -- The Paducah Chiefs rallied for a three-run seventh to defeat the visiting Fulton Railroaders 4-2 in its home opener on Friday night at Brooks Stadium.

Reid Homan and John Michael Russ each collected two hits and an RBI for the Chiefs, while Luke McKenzie hit two singles, knocking in two runs.

On the mound Chiefs starter Nick King went 41/3 innings, allowing a run on two hits with three strikeouts. Paducah native and St. Mary alum Hale Sims tossed the final 42/3 innings and allowed one run on five hits with five strikeouts.

Both teams are back in action tonight (Saturday) with the Chiefs hosting Muhlenberg County and Fulton playing in its home opener against Hopkinsville's Hoppers.
